Do you have favorite childhood foods that you still love? Or ones you can’t believe you used to eat?
That’s easy!! CANDY CORN!!!!!!!! I don’t know why, but when Halloween comes around, I have to have candy corn. And since the word “corn” is in the title, its part of the 4 food groups and is allowed.
How many books do you have started, but not finished? Or do you only read one book at a time?
Right now I have a Lisa Scottoline book started and haven’t finished yet. I pretty much start a book and finish it before I go to the next one. I love Lisa’s books and try to read what ever she has out. My son wants me to read the Harry Potter books and not see the movies. Maybe that will be my next one to start up.
I love to read, but my old, really bad eyes don’t!! I can read for a few minutes, then have to stop. And now I have to find books with much bigger print and can’t read paper backs anymore. Even with “cheaters”, I still have problems. Hoping someday to have the surgery where I can see normally!!

What future discovery do you eagerly await? Why?
I guess whats on my mind now for a future new discovery is a cure or prevention of Alzheimer’s. What a destructive disease. My husbands mother is at the end stages and we were talking about how hard this must be for her and he replied, “Really, its not hard on her because she doesn’t know whats going on, but its been so hard on the family watch her deteriorate to nothing.” It’s killing my husband to watch his mother slowly die like that. This disease is not only taking a wonderful life slowly away, but it has also divided brothers, other family members and what to do about her care.
I live in a retirement community and watch all these wonderful aging individuals, 20 years older than I, having a great time. Playing tennis, pickle ball, swimming, golfing and really enjoying life. That’s the way it should be for every one in their Golden Years.
I am only 50 and will do anything possible to enjoy my life up into my 80′s or 90′s. And maybe in the next few years someone will find a way to stop this horrible disease.
What helps stir your creative juices? When you’re feeling like you need some inspiration, where do you go? What do you do? Who do you talk with?
When it gets to where I can’t decide what to do on my layouts, I first will just walk away from doing layouts for a few days. That helps me more than anything. I will get in a rut and need to get away from it for awhile.
I have also gone to other scrapbooking sites to see what else is out there and maybe get some new ideas.
Do you have a lucky number? Why is it lucky?
Good question. I have 2 really. For a very long time, when I was much older, I loved the number 19. Because I couldn’t wait to be 19. Now my number is 13, because that belongs to my favorite football player, Dan Marino.
I have used the number many times while playing the lottery or other things when it came to picking numbers, but so far, no luck.
hhhhhhhmmmmm………Maybe its time to change my numbers!!
According to some, today is Pecan Pie Day. What food would you like today to celebrate?
It is very hard for me to say what would be my favorite food for a day on the calendar.
I would have many days. Cheeseburger Day, Pizza Day, Chinese Food in a Box Day, Chocolate Anything Day. The list could go on forever.
hhhhhmmmmmm……..maybe there could be a food day for everyday of the year!!!!!!
