Discovery Cove

I have to put a plug in for one of the neatest things I have ever done.

My husband and I went to Discovery Cove in Orlando, FL for my 50th birthday to swim with the dolphins. It will be an experience that I will never forget!!

You swim, touch, feed and I mean, be really up close with the dolphins. I was just in aw of being with such a powerful creature and how gentle it was with everyone. You can also snorkel with fish, sting rays (there are some as large as me), swim with sting rays in a separate pond, feed birds and swim in a warm swimming area and a river with water falls. The place is just beautiful. Looks like a tropical paradise with sand, cabana’s and all the food, snacks and drinks you want. You are also given snorkel equipment and towels. Wonderful clean bathrooms with showers and shampoo and lotions. Someone is always taking pictures of you while you are with the dolphins and making a video. Our package came with the dvd and we purchased all the pictures on a cd. The price of the ticket you pay for is all inclusive.

You must make reservations at this park in advance and they only let a few people in the park. It is not crowded there at all. Not like the other area attractions. I have been to almost all the attractions in Orlando now and I must say Discovery Cove is the tops!! Sorry Mickey.

Movin Up

Just like the old tv show the Jeffersons…when was the last time you felt like you were ‘moving on up’?

Just a few years ago, I would say I have moved up. A lot of that is due to my husband of 5 years teaching me how to run my own company. Having a little confidence in myself and taking risks. I first started selling on ebay, then starting my own website and selling my jewelry and now have expanded to hair bows and other items.

He also taught me the real estate business and how to take a run down home, fix it up and sell it for a profit. Hardest work I have ever done, but the end result and knowing I am helping to clean up the community really makes it worth all that hard work. I love looking at the before and after pictures we take of these homes.

I also have to thank the man upstairs, because without my faith and daily prayers, I know I wouldn’t be where I am today.
