Here is a layout using many of her papers and elements. These pictures are from our last trip to Georgia. The mountains in Northern Georgia are just beautiful and Helen is a site to see. Very nice.
My husband and I have been flipping homes for quite awhile now and loved what we were doing. Then the real estate fell completely out and we had 3 flip homes that were just sitting there and eating up all our capital we had worked so hard to earn.
As the months went on and the houses didn’t sell, we were slowly falling into debt that was hard on both of us. We called the banks, credit card companies and worked with them until we were able to sell the flip homes and get ourselves back on track. I think by getting help very early, we were able to stop the high interest on our credit cards and wait for the market to ease off.
We are still not completely out of the red, but are slowly seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. One of the things we looked into was to use debt help of our bills. After doing a little research, this would have been great for our credit cards we used to buy supplies for the flip homes. One bill, one payment, less interest and a lot less worry on our part.
Bills.com is a great place to get Debt Help, Mortgage Loans, Refinance Quotes, Credit Solutions, and help with your bills. Check out all this great information to help you before you get so far in debt, it will take much longer to get yourself out.
Debt help and taking a quiz is a great way to see if you are on the right track. I learned a very long time ago that Social Security was not going to take care of me, so on my own, I started my own Roth IRA. I was able to live on about $20,000 income, pay the rent, save in my IRA and pay my own insurance and I did all this in my 40′s. I didn’t have the newest and latest thing on the market, but I was happy, healthy and knowing that I could take care of myself on a low income. I learned very quickly how to shop CHEAP and not spend money that I didn’t mean too.

This is an interesting question and being a woman, I have a couple of views about this.
I have been in the work force for a very long time and only had a couple of instances where I felt I was looked over because I was a woman. But, then again, that just made me work harder to get what I wanted.
I also worked for a company who’s board members were all men. One board member came in and took a piece of candy that was at my window. Instead of throwing the wrapper in the trash, he threw it on the floor and said, “One of the girls will pick it up”. It was all I could do to not climb over my desk and ring his neck!! I have no need for men that feel woman are worthless or treat them like dirt.
Oh, and NEVER call me one of your girls!!! I hate that.
Now I also feel that if a woman can prove herself in a very physical job, let her do that job. Women in the military? You will hear some of the old school military men say that if they had to go to war or defend their country that their feelings may get in the way to make military decisions. That might have been true years ago, but I think the woman of today can hold her own when it comes to physical jobs or jobs where decisions have to be made that most people couldn’t. But, if she can’t do the job, then she shouldn’t get it just because it fills a quota.
I laugh at my husband who was a firefighter for 32 years talk about women at his department. Now being a firefighter is a very demanding, working very close with other firefighters and very physical. Of course, when the first woman came into the fire department, he said it was hard to get use to. She had to have her own bedroom and bathroom or have certain times when she could use the bathroom when the men weren’t around. But, my husband said she turned out to be a great firefighter.
But, on the other hand, he said some of the women that came into the department caused alot of problems because they were there for one reason. To find herself a man! Being with a lot of men 24 hours a day caused problems and divorces in the department. But he said, as the years went on, that problem pretty much solved itself.
Then the man came out of my husband. He told me you use to go into the bathroom and see “certain” magazines sitting on top of the toilets and after the women moved in, the showers had little pink fuzzie things hanging in there and smelly shampoo and stuff. Oh my gosh that was so funny to hear that. Now the women work in departments that have separate bathrooms and bedrooms.
I hang a pink fuzzie thing in the shower just to hear him whine!!
This young man, Neal Boyd, is from a small town of Sikeston, Missouri. The area where I was born and raised and you don’t hear much from this sleepy little farming area of Southeast Missouri.
But, when American’s Got Talent began its season this year, this young man made his mark and I do believe will make it far in the compitition. Please take a moment and listen to his performance last night.
I LOVE roses and I don’t know too many people, especially all you ladies out there. And don’t you just love it when your hubby or boyfriends surprises you with them! What a treat that always is.
My favorite rose color is salmon. I had always been a red rose person, but when I had to go and pick up roses for my fathers funeral, they were salmon. That was his favorite color. I just adored them and the color was beyond beautiful and that color of rose will always remind me of him.
I went to a site to read about roses and what the salmon color means and this is what it said:

Blog Prompt: Yesterday was Kiss and Make Up Day. Describe an argument you had with someone and how you resolved the problem.
I am too old for stupid anymore and it seems that most arguments are over stupid stuff. One thing my wonderful husband has taught me is to communicate and discuss something that is bothering me, instead of festering over it and then blowing up. That’s what I use to do many years ago. Terrible temper. Something I acquired from my father.
So I can’t say I have had an argument with anyone in a very long time. And I hope not to have one any time soon. I love being happy.
My phone has been out of service now since last night and since the only cell phone we have is in Georgia with my husband, I only have email and YM to communicate. For some reason, my DSL works just fine.
I can text my husband via YM, which is pretty cool, to let him know why I haven’t called him since last night. We have minimum minutes, so we talk before 9 am and after 9 pm.
I contacted my phone provider via repair ticket and it’s suppose to be fixed by 7:15pm tonight. At least I was able to do that. I went to the chat area and they couldn’t help me!! OH MY GOSH!!!!! I don’t have phone service to call you and you tell me you can’t start a repair ticket for me? I hate how these companies force you to have someone at your home all day long. I can stay home, but all you lovely ladies that have to work! What do you do when you need service like that?? Do you hire a baby sitter for your home to let someone in to repair what ever?
Oh well. I will just sit tight, play on the computer and wait for the phone repair guy. Maybe he will be hot!

My husband and I love to have dinner at a very quite area, where the music is soft, the lighting is softer and the food is great. Just sitting there enjoying each others company, good food, a lot of hand holding and a nice drink. Of course, there would have to be a “to die for” dessert at the end of it all with a great cup of coffee.
After dinner will be, well, let’s say better then the “to die for” dessert.
