I found Accor Hotels 3-Day Super Sale Asia Pacific which is the perfect deal for my family.  The rate for 3 days is extremely cheap and very affordable.  I noticed some of the rooms start at $30 per night.  I think the 3 days would be just enough time to have a great time and see part of the world.   I have to hurry, because it runs from Oct. 27 – 29th for these special prices.

The country list include Thailand, Korea, China, Japan, HK, Australia, Singapore, Vietnam, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Fiji, Indonesia, Taiwan, India, Bali.  That’s over a million hotel rooms with great prices to choose from.

Some of these hotels are just beautiful and are all part of the Accor Company.  The Sofitel, Pullman, Grand Mercure, Novotel, Mercure, All Seasons and Ibis hotels are all participating in these deals.

Just don’t sit by and let these great deals pass you by for a great mini vacation in beautiful hotels in far off country.  This might be the perfect time for you to enjoy a few days off.

Blog Prompt: Today is Ipod Day. Do you have an Ipod or mp3 player? If so, what kind of things do you have on it? If you have music, share what genre of music you like.

I’ve had a mp3 player for many years now. When the one I had would quit working, I would shop for another one. I do have a Shuffle ipod that I just love when I am riding my bike or walking the dog. I can download tons of songs on that little thing and it clips right to my shirt. Really small and so easy to use and carry around.

I purchased a Sansa mp3 player with a FM radio so he could listen to his talk shows and work in the yard. It will also hold pictures, videos and music.  As a matter of fact, I am charging up this player as I am typing my post today. That player has to be charged from the computer, where my ipod can be charged up by electrical outlet. That is the only thing I don’t like about the Sansa mp3 player. My computer shuts itself down when I don’t use it, so that means it doesn’t get a full charge. So, I will have to stay on the computer for a bit today to get a full charge for next week.

I use the Sansa mp3 player while we are at painting jobs. I can listen to the radio all day long for a couple of days on one charge. My ipod lasts a good long time on a charge.

Both of these mp3 players are a decent price.  The Sansa isn’t the newest version and you can get it at a good price.  I love to comparison shop.

I love to shop online and I love finding great deals too! I know all of you out there are trying to save as much money in this economy and I have found a great website where I can compare items I am looking for, add them to my wish list and I can also share this list with family and friends. Shop.com is perfect for my shopping. I am looking for a new digital camera and I love how they compare all the different types of cameras. I can search by how much I want to pay, what kind of camera or brand. Price Comparison is very important to me, especially when I know how much I want to spend. They also have tons of reviews on all the different cameras for me to read. I depend a lot on what other consumers like about a product.

I am also looking at items for Christmas gifts.  My nephew loves sports and I think he would love one of the Nba comforters they have to offer.  Thats one gift checked off of my list.  I’m sure I will find more and I love the idea of not having to stand in lines and let the post office bring the gifts to me.

Blog Prompt: On this day in 1959, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art opened in New York City. Describe a time that you have been to a museum.

My favorite museum so far is The Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago. My son was about 5 when we went and there was tons of “hands on” things he could do. There was also a huge display of the heart and I was able to show him what had happened to his Papaw when he had his heart attack.  That was a special day.

Back in the 70′s while I was in Girl Scouts, we took a trip to Washington D.C. and I just loved the Smithsonian.  We only had a few hours there and all I wanted to see what the Hope Diamond.  What girl doesn’t want to dream about a 67 carat diamond.  We get there and I was disappointed.   It was blue and just not what I was thinking it would be. I was also not interested in the history of this wonderful gem.  Now I am and I hope some day I can go back to the museum to spend so much more time there and enjoy.

I love enjoying the Christmas holidays and all the fun you can have around the tree, decorating and having parties.

Last year I had a Christmas party and what a success it was.  I really needed some wonderful ideas for decorations for this party.

We had wonderful little finger food and snacks and a great punch with a kick.  This year I think I am going to have a full dinner to serve to my guests.

The Christmas tree sparkled with twinkly lights and there was a sense of Christmas in every room.  I am really needing some Christmas decoration ideas for the outside of my home now.

I made the invitations, which I was very proud of, but this year I would like to have premade ones to save time.  We have little slots under our mail boxes where you can put things like this at everyone’s homes.

The party was a great success, but oh my goodness, all the leg work I had to do and the headaches from all the decisions that needed to be made.

After that party, I stumbled upon www.celebrations.com for great party themes and realized what an easier job it would’ve been if I had found them first. They have great ideas for all kinds of parties. The holidays, birthdays, bridal showers, picnics, etc. This website rocks with all the information you need for recipes, drinks, decorations, party favors and invitations. And all you moms out there. All the birthday party themes they have for children are just too cute!

I know for my next party, I will be sure to visit their website to help me make the decisions I need to do.
