I love watching sports on TV and have been to a few NFL games in the past.  Back then, you had to call the stadium and they would mail your tickets to you.  None of this nice internet ways of  how they do this now.

I was recently checking out Ticket America to look to see if there was a certain concert being held at Time Warner Cable Arena and Busch Stadium.  I will be traveling to these places and was looking for some entertainment.  I love to watch the Cardinals play in Busch Stadium.

My husband and I would love to see the Cards and the Braves in Turner Field.  He has enjoyed games there before,but I haven’t had the pleasure yet.  And to see a ballgame in Yankee Stadium or Madison Square Garden, would be a sportsman dream.  There is nothing like seeing a sporting event live and in person.

I hope in the future I will be able to go to see my beloved Miami Dolphins in their home stadium.  I have seen them in other stadiums, but I must see them at home.  I know I will use ticketamerica.com for my next purchase of tickets.

I have a friend who wears nursing scrubs almost everyday in her job.  I asked her the other day where she got her scrub clothing at and she told me about blueskyscrubs.com.

She loves their products and learned about it from another colleague, who she said always has the nicest looking scrubs.  She said they wash up well and last a really long time.  There were many colors to choose from for nurses and medical uniforms.  She really loves how the scrub tops fit her frame and doesn’t have to worry about them being too big or snug.

Nickelodeon Has Family Friendly Programming

As a mom of three kids under the age of ten, I certainly get my fair amount of exposure to children’s television channels. It’s hard to find good programming that is age appropriate, which is why Nickelodeon is my favorite network for them to watch. Though they love the Disney channel, there are only a few shows that I can really let them watch that they’re interested in. I try to keep them away from the pop Disney stars, which makes programming choices there a bit difficult.

However, Nickelodeon has many great choices that I feel good about them watching. They are able to watch Nickelodeon on our directv channels and they get several of the channels in addition to their other favorites, like Cartoon Network. My two boys love watching Avatar: The Last Airbender, while my daughter is a big fan of iCarly. All of the kids can also agree on watching The Penguins of Madagascar and The Fairly Oddparents.

Though I think it’s important to expose them to the different types of television that are on so that they can stay informed about current issues and what’s going on in the world, I like to take the opportunity to talk to them about important elements of the shows and what they mean. All of the shows definitely provide us with good conversation opportunities.

It’s November in Central Florida and the weather has just been perfect. We could use a bit of rain, but thank goodness for sprinklers. We did have about an inch this week.

It was time for the primaries and we were so glad the way it turned out for the country. The play will be next weekend, so it was time for me to help with setting up the stage. Hard work, but it turned out great.

WOW!!  It looks like half of the US is covered in show right now and wouldn’t it be a good idea to have some good boots to wade out in the slush and muke that melted snow brings.

I recently saw an advertisement for Burberry Rain Boots and thought those would be great to wear here at home when we have our heavy down pours and mud every where. Especially when I have to walk out in the fields and don’t want to get my feet wet.

What beautiful boots they are and so fashionable.  They are good for working in the barn or wear when you go shopping.  You don’t have to wear ugly rain boots anymore.  They have synthetic uppers (to keep the wet out), 1″ heel with Pull on style with a rubber sole.  I really love the ankle style of Burberry boots.  Those work much better for my larger calves.
