Project 365 – July 19 – 26

What a hot, hot week we had with virtually no rain.  Things are starting to burn up around here.  Even though we have sprinklers and watering the pots, they need cooler temps and RAIN!!

We had a great cactus presentation at our monthly Garden Club meeting and I came home with a baby cactus of my own.

I used Sweet & Simple 7 and templates by Weeds and Wildflowers.

I hope everyone has a great week,

Bangles Beads Bows Review

I am so proud of this review done by Simply Stacie and don’t forget to sign up for the giveaway.

My daughter was born bald and stayed that way for a long time. When she finally grew hair, I became obsessed with hair bows. I have had the opportunity over the last two years to purchase a lot of hair bows so I am a good judge of a quality bow. Too many times, bows would come apart, fray or separate from the clip within just a few uses. I was excited to have the opportunity to review a bow from Personalized Creations.

As soon as I opened the box and examined the monogrammed bow, it was obvious that there is a lot of care put into crafting these bows. My daughter took one look at the pretty pink monogrammed bow and exclaimed ““H” is for Hannah”. She insisted on modeling it immediately and has worn it numerous times over the past two weeks. It looks just as good now as it did for her first us which reinforces my opinion that these are quality made bows. I plan to stock up on these cute hair bows for my daughter’s first week at home school co-op classes. There is a great assortment of bows starting at $2.00 and up and something for every budget.

I also liked the easy shopping set up at Personalized Creations which has a good selection of bangles, beads and bows. I got really excited when I saw the Mother’s bracelets because I have had my eye on these for quite some time and was able to subtly (o.k. maybe not so subtly since I made him look at the web page) hint to my husband that this would make a fantastic holiday gift.

*I was not financially compensated for this post. I received a sample of the product for review purposes. The opinions are completely my own based on my experience.*

Merchant Credit Card Processing

I have a business that is growing and I’ve been asked many times if I accept credit cards. It’s getting to be an inconvenience to my customers to not use their cards in my shopping cart.

So, I started doing some research for a Merchant Processing company and have found one in Bluepay.com. They have services for all kinds of businesses. Not just e commerce, but also for brick and mortar companies.  Their services are safe and secure for your customers information and transactions.

I know this will increase sales and profits by providing our customers the convenience and flexibility of placing orders on my website with the payment method of their choice.

Project 365 – July 12 – 18

What a busy week this was.

Glenn got his new glasses and he is so proud he did. He now says he can see in “HD” vision. His other glasses were so old, he couldn’t see down the road. Now he can read all the signs while he is driving.

My Kindle came in and I love it!! I use it everyday and am enjoying reading so much more now that I can change the font size to a larger size. I love they have free books to read and I haven’t purchased one yet.

I helped some ladies from the Garden Club to plant 3 new trees at the Community Center and I love how the pots are at their beauty near the swimming pool.

I used Sweet and Simple #7 from Weeds and Wildflowers.  These kits are so easy to use and you can also purchase the already made templates and all you have to do is insert your pictures.  So easy to use and you can find them here.

I hope everyone has a great week,

Free WordPress Themes

I love my wordpress theme I made a couple of years ago, but I think its time for an update.  There are tons of wordpress themes out there but I have found some really great free wordpress themes online. No hassle downloading, no sign ins and the best part, they are free! There are 1 to 4 column themes, left and right sidebars, no picture themes to choose from. I love the way they have them separated by colors or type of business related theme you might want.  I love the one I am showing in the picture above and I think that will be the one I will use next.  Can’t wait to load this one up.

Project 365 – July 1 – 11

July is here and so is the heat!!  It has been warmer than normal and on top of that, no rain.  Not good in Central Florida.  It was also the week of July the 4th and Glenn got out the smoker to get busy with some meat for the freezer.  I love the taste of smoked meat.

I love, love, love the new Sweet and Simple #7 kit available for the month of July.  The colors and elements are wonderful and you can find it here.

I hope everyone has a great week,
