A Happy Move
Have you ever moved? What was most memorable about it? If you never have what do you think would make it memorable?
I’ve moved many times with my dad being in the military and then in my recent years moving from Missouri to Georgia and then to Florida. And I have some horror stories to share, but I think I will share a good story this time.
One of the moves I remember is when we moved back to the states in 1965 when I was in the 3rd grade from Hawaii to Missouri. It was a 4 hour flight from Honolulu to California and since my brother was small and I was older, I got to sit in an area all by myself. But, my neighbor was a sailor in uniform. He was so nice to me and gave me candy and helped with my food tray. I think that day was the first time I fell in love with an older man!
And I also knew at that very moment that I would marry a man in uniform. Well, that came true when I married my husband the fireman. I just love a happy ending.
Everyone have a wonderful day,

It’s so nice that he was sweet to you. In today’s world, many are afraid to be nice to young children for fear that they might be seen as a pedophile. It is a shame that the world has come to this. My hubby tells me that I think I have to befriend any child I’m around.
