Allergies?

Blog Prompt: You find out you are highly allergic to something you love. Do you give it up (no matter how hard it is) or not (and deal with the consequences of the allergy)?
I guess it would depend on what I’m allergic to. If its the dog, well then I would have to figure out a way to control the allergies. I could never give up my dog. He is our family. 
If its food, I wouldn’t have any problems with that. Unlesssssss, its chocolate. And then I would have to find some way to handle that situation for sure.
I hope someday I will get to meet Ernest T. As for chocolate, I am allergic to it too but I eat it in small doses. I refuse to give that up!
