I am lucky that I have taught in most places where the administration was supportive. Of course, if I have behavior problems, I deal directly with the parents first and that usually takes care of the problems. Then when I have to send a student to the administrator, everyone knows it has to be pretty bad so I get all of the support I need. It is great that you had 2 teachers you really liked.
