The Best TV Moms

Blog Prompt: Since Mother’s Day is approaching, who do you think was the best TV mom and why?

I guess my choice would be June Cleaver from Leave it to Beaver. I mean what a woman!!! She always had on pearls, tight fitting dresses, high heel shoes, the perfect makeup, always cooked 3 meals a day and it seemed she hardly ever left the kitchen. I remember watching her, when I was younger, and wondered why she always looked that good and there wasn’t any mothers I knew that looked like that. Little did I know that TV mom’s were special. Even when it came to discipline with the boys, she passed that to Ward. Same in my house too!!

I hate to see those times leave us today. I wasn’t a stay at home mom, and I wish I could’ve been. I am in aw now that there are women today that can stay home with their moms.

The Duggar Family
I do have another Mom that is on the top of my list as one of those special mom’s that you just can’t imagine exists. Here name is Michelle Duggar and she and her husband are raising 16 children. Their story is on the Discovery Health Channel and if you get a chance, please watch the shows. You just won’t believe their story and how they do it with that many children.

The Duggar Family Please click on the link I provided to visit the website to read about the family, watch some video and see the tv schedule of their shows. It will be well worth your time.

Have a great day,

“Education is the soul of a child”

Education in this day and age is one of the most important things, I think as adults, we can pass on to our children. Without an education, you just can’t better yourself. It saddens me to see young children graduate school with no education or ability to even read.

Let’s keep our children in school, help them with homework, read to a child daily and be better parents by showing up to your child’s school activities.

I will tag a bunch of very talented ladies, who can teach us a lot about being creative and being great moms:

Hollie
Heather
Jo Ann
