Chores
Did you have specified chores as a child? If so, what were they? Were you given an allowance for completing them? How much? What chores did you feel were unfair? Which ones did you enjoy the most?
Since I was raised in a military family, my brother and I were expected to do a lot of chores. If we got paid, I don’t recall. We did a little bit of everything. Yard work and working in the house. This lasted until we both left my parents home.
There was a couple of chores I remember that I really hated. We had this brick sidewalk edging that we had to paint white and at another house, we had a brick side walk that we would have to keep the weeds from coming up between the bricks. HATED BOTH THOSE JOBS!!!!!!
But I also think because of all those chores we did, makes me a better house cleaner. I take pride in my home and my husband thinks I go beyond normal house cleaning at times.

I agree whole heartedly. I think that chores that we are given when we are children reflect in our homes and even our jobs when we are older.
Those sure were tough jobs…….but like you said, you bring it to your adulthood and have a well kept home.
