Closet Mess
Blog Prompt: This month is Get Organized Month. Name 3 things you need to organize and your strategy for doing this.
Oh my goodness!! This would definitely be my closet. We have already organized the garage and the master bedroom, so now its on to the closet. I promised myself I would get in there and get rid of anything that doesn’t fit and shoes that I have held onto since HIGH SCHOOL!!!
Why hold onto clothes that will never fit? I will never get that booty in those jeans again. Since menopause my boobs have gotten huge and a lot of my shirts gap in the front. By the way, I want my little boobs back. Going from a B to a C cup is driving me nuts!! Too much boob sweat in the heat down here in Florida.
And all those shoes I have for what? I never wear them. There is a pair that is over 30 years old in a shoe box that’s never opened. They all must go. Even though the cute ones. I must keep my nice pair of black shoes with the little rhinestone studs on them. They do make my little feet very sexy. And my penny loafers are my favs to wear with my jeans. You know, the jeans that don’t fit my booty. Oh, and my 2 pairs of Roaper boots I love to wear with my long jeans. Those jeans do fit. Well hell. Before you know it, I might get rid of just a couple pairs of shoes.
I hardly ever wear enclosed shoes anymore. I usually have on a pair of flip flops of some kind 99% of the time. Down here in Florida, you can really dress up a pair of flip flops. I love my glitter black flip flops and wear them all the time. So shiny.
I will post again on just how many pairs of shoes and the pile of clothes I will be getting rid of. I will take my pile of clothes ans shoes to Goodwill and the Salvation Army. I know someone could use them.
Of course, my poor husband told me that I will be making room for new clothes and shoes. He knows me well.
I always get the bug to clean out closets in January too. I think it must have something to do with packing away all the Christmas decorations or something. I wish you well in your efforts.
3 things I need to organize?! I think I would have a hard time thinking of 3 things that don’t need it! With so many things to do organization always gets pushed to the end of the list even though I know it would make everything move more smoothly once it was done.
Those are fab flip flops.
I CANNOT wear flip flops!!! They all hurt too much – still looking for a comfy pair.
Oh what I’d give to be able to wear my flip flops throughout the year! I’m in England and we get about 6-8 weeks of summer!! Your glitter flip flops are COOL! Susie xoxo
