Cravings and a Layout
Blog Prompt – What foods do you keep out of sight?
Oh my goodness, do I have to list?
This has been a really bad past 2 weeks for craving. My Pre-menapausal PMS was in full force for about 2 weeks until yesterday.
My lower back pain and walking bent over wasn’t fun this month. I usually have that pain for a couple of days before my period, but not this time!
And on top of that the cravings. All I wanted to do was eat pizza, salt and as much chocolate as I could eat. I know I can’t eat that stuff. I know I’m not suppose to eat that stuff. BUT WHAT’S A GIRL SUPPOSE TO DO?
Thank goodness there wasn’t any chocolate in the house and I did have a couple of chips for the salt. Well, actually, I had MORE than a few chips. ALRIGHT!!!! I had almost a whole bag!!!!!
hhhhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmmmm *deep breath*
So after all the pain, the cravings, the bloating and being a week late, my friend came to visit me Thursday. Thank goodness.
I finally found a doctor who can help me with natural hormones. I was going to let nature take its course and go through menopause without any meds, but my body is having too hard of a time without them. I don’t want synthetic oral hormones for sure. I know my husband is wanting me to do something. I can’t imagine why!

Now for a layout. Its been awhile since I posted one. (See above post)
Clever Crow Designs has a new kit called Dirt Monster and also some great element groups. You can find them here.

Have a great weekend,

Sweets! Definitely. We have mardi gras right now here and those king cakes are just trying to crush my diet. I bought one for my Wednesday night youth group bible study class and told my husband to take the rest to work and give it away because if it was here I would have ate it all!
I so heare you with the PMS-thingies. I have to check this with my doc. I really think I am also needing some natural meds.
have a good weekend!
You know, I have felt this way before. Rrrrr! it’s so frustrating. Hang in there, good luck with the natural hormones, and love your layouts.
This has been a weird month for me with cravings.. not sure what is up but my hormones are certainly wonky. You see, I am a vanilla girl. I like vanilla ice cream, caramel, banana – all those light colored sweet flavors that don’t involve the cocoa bean. Well, until this month. For some reason, I’ve been craving chocolate cake/brownies like a mad woman!
glad things are starting to look up for you.
great layout and products too! thanks for sharing.
I love those grungy date strips!
Funny, I still get that lower back pain when I am suppose to have a period but I haven’t had one in … 5 maybe 6 years. But I know what caused mine, LOL. Guess I was one of the lucky ones to get through menopause without any incident at all.
Never really had to worry about chocolate or sweets, I don’t eat them often. But salt. Still over the years I have pretty much quit using it and I never add it to cooking (unless a recipe calls for it).
Love, love your layout and that kit. Guess it’s one more I need to buy
I’m sorry about your feeling with menstruation.. I don’t know it from my own experience, but it’s nothing nice. Have a great weekend!!!
I can relate! And what a beautiful layout! I’ve just gotta have that kit!
Even though I had a hysterectomy, I still have my ovaries which means I still have month cravings, and zits. I love salt! I could put salt in my hand and lick it off. My family used to tell me that they were going to buy a salt block for me like the ones they get on a farm for animals! LOL I hope the natural hormones help.
