Dogs and Blaming Others
Remember, if a dog was the teacher you would learn things like:
* When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.
* Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.
* Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure ecstasy.
* Take naps.
* Stretch before rising.
* Run, romp, and play daily.
* Thrive on attention and let people touch you.
* Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.
* On warm days, stop to lie on your back on the grass.
* On hot days, drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree.
* When you’re happy, dance around and wag your entire body.
* Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.
* Be loyal.
* Never pretend to be something you’re not.
* If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.
* When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by and nuzzle them gently.
Blog Prompt: Feb. 13 was Blame Someone Else Day. Have you ever blamed someone else for something you did? What happened?
Of course I blamed something on someone else when I was a little girl. MY BROTHER!!!! He took alot of my mess ups, but now my mom sees through me. hehehe
My son, an only child, would blame things on the dog all the time. We use to have a fridge that, when you opened up the door, had a little water spout inside. I would find water on the floor from when he would open the door, push the spout with his finger and let water flow all over the place. I would find it, ask him why he did that and then he would blame it on the dog. Well, of course he would get caught in that lie every time.
Then one day, another puddle showed up by the fridge and of course, he blamed it on the dog. As I was cleaning it up and once again telling him about lying, I realized, this isn’t water on the floor. The dog really did do it!! Oh well. Mommies aren’t perfect.

Could you please tell my Mom the dog actually is the guilty one occassionally? I’m an only child like your son, so the dog was always getting told on for doing something.
gotta love finding little puddles…. no matter who made them!
My dog always used to steal the ice cream out of my cone but my mom wouldn’t believe me either and always thought I just wanted a second cone!
I have younger sisters so I naturally got all the blame. But to tell the truth, I probably deserved it. LOL
