Golden Girls and Sale
I was saddened to hear that Bea Authur had passed this past weekend. Oh how I loved that woman in Maude and especially in Golden Girls.
Who doesn’t love the Golden Girls. My son would laugh and tell me thats how me and my girlfriends would end up. All living together in Florida. Well, I made it to Florida and living the retired life style, but my friends are still back in Missouri. Maybe someday they will make it down here and we can enjoy our Golden Years together.
I remember the last episode with Bea when she was getting married and moving to Texas. And what a hard time it was to say goodbye to her friends. Every time I see that episode I just boo hoo. It reminds me of the day I told my friends I was moving to Georgia and leaving Missouri.
Here is the end of that episode that always brings tears to my eyes. Remember that friendships come in all ages -
To this day, I always love to watch those shows, even though I have seen them many times.
Bea, you will be missed by all.

I have never seen golden girls before, but i agree that clip does bring a tear to your eye
I was sad to hear of her passing also. Will always love Golden Girls and the friendship portrayed on that show.
