Today is National Kazoo Day. What is your favorite musical instrument and why?
I love so many different kinds of instruments. I played the clarinet in school and pecked at the piano. But I can’t truly say I have a favorite one.
Watching my son grow up and learning different instruments, I have enjoyed each one he has accomplished. First it was the tuba, the piano and then the violin. He also plays the hand bells and because he is a music major, he had to learn all the instruments to teach.
Music is a big part of my life and I constantly have some kind of music playing while I work and especially while I am cleaning the house. I don’t care for rap. It’s just not my style of music.
I must show a layout of my son while he was in high school playing the tuba. This is one of my first digital layouts I did a few years back. Very simple, but at the time, I thought it was wonderful!! I see so many things now that I would change about it. Shadows and my word art where it shouldn’t be. But I keep it around to remind me how I have improved over the years.
I have so many pictures of my son with his instruments and I need to make a new layout for that.

I too love music! My favorite instrument is probably the Guitar, because my Daddy plays it. I’ve got so many fond memories of listening to my dad play.
I played the french horn in middle school. HATED every second of it! LOL
Beautiful layout! I forgot about taking clarinet lessons for a couple of months but then my teacher killed himself by driving off the brooklyn bridge. I hope it wasn’t due to my playing!
