Our Babysitter

Blog Prompt: When your parents would go out what would you do?
My brother and I only had babysitters a few times, because we had grandmas that lived close. And I don’t recall doing anything way out there and we were always good with our babysitter or grandmas. If not, we knew the consequences when my parents came home.
I do remember our babysitter while we lived in Hawaii that was really fun and she played games with us and was always nice. I would dress up and we would play house or dolls. I wish I could remember her name. But, that was back in the 60′s and my mind can’t recall that for some reason. 
The first and only time we ever left our kids with a babysitter, our house caught on fire. The furnace had a malfunction and wouldn’t turn off and caught the house on fire. It was the scariest time in our life when we got a phone call to come home because our house was burning.
