Popsicles and a Layout
Blog Prompt – Today is National Grape Popsicle Day and tell me about your favorite Popsicle or ice cream treat as a child.
I remember when I was a child, my mom would make us popsicles herself. She used the Tuperware popsicle forms and fill it with Kool Aid. My brother and I loved those. We always knew there were popsicles in the freezer when we got home from school. The picture shows the kind she used. They are from back in the 60′s and I think Tupperware makes updated ones now. These make great items for families and they are much cheaper to make then to buy already made.

LOL – I think we all remember those days. my mother used to do that as well and guess what? I do it for my kids now!

i love your layout… the mistiness of the photo is captured beautifully with the paper and elements… and when we first moved to canada we used to always buy freezeee pops… the kids had not had them before, even living in florida (I guess i never bought them there) but here in Canada the kids thought it was a canadian invention… lol
My mum did not have those Popsicle forms, and I did not know they existed until a few years back…
We used a plastic cup and filled that with syrup or juice or Fanta or so. The resulting Popsicles were always huge. Or we tried an ice cube tray with tiny popsicles are a result. It did not matter to us. When the weather is hot, anything cool is great. Especially when you made them yourself.
I remember those tupperware popsicle thingys! I grew up with them too! Thanks for the memories!
Visting here from DST, great looking Blog! We did have those popsicle form from Tupperware, we also used pudding in them to make pudding treats, they were yummy. I’d ike to get my hands on those for my kids.
I remember those. The ones I have now for the grands look like that but with a “straw” at the bottom so they can drink the melted popsicle.
