Relaxing Today
Blog Prompt: Today is National Relaxation Day. How do you plan to relax today?
I must have known today was National Relaxation Day. As usual, Ernest the crazy dog snorted on me early this morning to let me know that he was up and so should I. I just laid there and could hear the rain outside my window and the distance thunder rumbling. I turned over, ignored the dog and enjoyed a few more minutes of relaxation time.
Friday is also a work out day for me and I usually walk to the our community center and water the plants around the swimming pool. If its been raining, then the dog and I will take a walk together. I can’t figure out why the HOA won’t let me take Ernest the crazy dog with me while I water. The swimming pool is fenced in and he would have so much fun!! Oh well.
Anyway, since it was raining when I finally dragged my lazy self out of bed, I decided to skip my workout today and do it tomorrow. I could’ve done a work out tape, but no. I think I’m allowed a day off once in awhile from working out.
I will also have lunch today with my mom and her golfing friends and give her the golf club covers I made for her. I hope she likes them! After lunch, I must get Ernest the crazy dog some dog food, get new ear plugs for my iPod shuffle, go to Walmart and look for material to make the crazy dog a new collar for the upcoming seasons and pick up a few items to fill the fridge with.
And the best part about today is……….MY HUSBAND IS FIXING SUPPER TONIGHT!!! I love when he does that. The layout shows my wonderful hubby fixing dinner for me for the very 1st time in my little apartment all those years ago. He had hillbilly music on and dressed the part.

So all in all this will be a very relaxing day for me.
I hope everyone else will have a relaxing day today too.
I wish someone would explain to all the people around me that today is Relaxation Day. I just have too much to do with us being in the middle of moving. I’ll relax when we’re done.

It’s raining here today and if I hadn’t had to take Chickie Boy to school, we would all still be snuggled up on the sofa in jammies, wasting the day away. Which I guess Chickie Girl and I are sorta doing, anyway!
