I had gone to a family reunion of my husband’s and I just loved meeting all those wonderful people for the 1st time. When I took this picture last year, none of us knew that this would be the last picture taken of these guys together. The picture is of 3 siblings and 2 cousins that have kept in touch for years. It was good to see them laugh and exchange stories of times gone by.
We will miss Weita Jo.
I will be going to my home state in April to have my father’s memorial service and it will be good to be home again. I will make sure to make every second count being with family and friends I haven’t seen for years. I will take many pictures that day for sure and cherish all the memories.

I watched Steal Magnolias today for the 100th time and I just love a movie about women enjoying themselves and living day to day with each other. My husband makes fun of me because I can recite so much of the movie by heart. But so many lines in that movie hold true to my heart. The movie makes me miss my friends back in Missouri so much!! We are definitely Steal Magnolias in our own right.
