Travel Back in Time
On the twenty eighth day of December I will time-travel back to
the time when I was a little girl and all my grandmothers were still alive, my father wasn’t sick and my brother and I lived a simple life of fun and laughter. This was such a much simpler time for our family and this country. I loved to be around my grandmothers and all the things they loved to do with my brother and I and oh my gosh the wonderful food they could cook.
Another time I would love to live again, is when my son was very small. I worked after he was born and I missed when he took his first step, his first words, virtually his “first” everything!! The babysitter enjoyed them for me. Now that his is a grown man, its hard to remember when he was that sweet little boy that always gave me hugs and told me, “I love you mamma”, every night before he went to sleep.
I often think of those times in my life to. Only if we knew then what we know now and enjoyed it more.
Wouldn’t it be so wonderful to go back and be a child again. I miss when the days lasted forever and I didn’t have a worry in the world.
Great choices, not sure when I would travel back to. Maybe to when my DD was first born, I miss how tiny she was and being able to just snuggle on the couch with her. She’s almost 3 and is growing up so darn fast! Have a great day!

I love this. You helped me travel back a little, too, to my simpler times. The kids and I are at my parents house in PA for the holidays while my husband is back in NC putting the finishing touches on our divorce. It is nice to remember happier times and to remember that the viewpoint of a child of the world around them is the most refreshing.

I would love to just take a flight back for a short while to see the kids when they were little.
